Been going through these randomly. Raking leaves this afternoon listening to this one.
It’s a great show. Often copied, never bettered.
I’ve been randomly picking them but went on a little run there from Rodger Waters to Keith Floyd to Keith Waterhouse this week. Usually download a few for the train ride home.
Been sending my Mum links to them too.
Listen to it every week. Essential.
I didn’t know it was still going. I’ll get on there yet. My guerilla campaign was going well on Twitter til my account got hacked. Following you with my new one by the way H.
Jon Oh yeh, just seen it, resurrected.
BBC Sounds app has them all too, going back years. Don’t think you get that??
I get them through the podcast app on my phone.
I’ll have a scroll through the years, download a few of the more interesting ones. John Cooper Clarke was pretty good a few weeks back.
I listened to that one. It was good, kind of expected it to be in fairness. No mention of my mate almost knocking him down in a Colchester supermarket car park mind.
Or chatting to me and my mate after his gig in York in the 90s. He’s old, he forgets things.
Could have elevated it from a good show to a great show.
Addicted to this at the moment, as Harvest said John Cooper Clarke was good as were Ian Wright & Stephen Graham.
Precinct_Boy I like it when you come across a good story that you went into with low or no expectations.
Vidal Sassoon is one that springs to mind. That man lived a hell of a life.
Will give that a listen
