I’d be very surprised if Aaronson will offer anymore than he did in the Premier League, not least in a League where it’s more physical and the referees offer less protection and let more go.

Initially he may have an element of surprise on his side but if it pans out that he offers what he did in the PL, it means he’s deprived, assuming he starts for a number of games, a starting berth to one of the other players and maybe younger players - Gelhardt, Gray, Crew
