Placid I approached it statistically and pointed out a couple of reasons why the statistic isn't as strong as it may first seem, that's the only point i was making, it's just how my mind works.
The following is a more general point.
I am not in the Farke out camp. I do doubt that he is a significant plus for a team intent on achieving promotion. It's only a doubt, so I'm more than happy to see how it goes. I was disappointed after the Portsmouth game and satisfied after the WBA game. I also said the Middlesboro game told us nothing and said nothing negative about the game. I haven't said anything about the Wednesday game. So after four games I've been critical just the once, that doesn't seem like the stance of an obsessive Farke out sort.
So where am I now? I still have relatively low expectations for this season for two reasons. How will we go on against the teams who set out to frustrate us? We struggled to create much against them last season, and didn't turn enough of those games into wins. Our record against lower half teams was poor last year. Against the three relegated teams away from home we picked up 2 points. The other doubt is the two man midfield, let's see how that plays out it's too early to judge.
I do feel Farke deserves the opportunity to improve on last season and think only a ruthlessly ambitious board would have changed him over the summer (Bournemouth/O'Neill).
This is not a Jesse Marsch situation who I felt sure was a fraud.
