What’s the next potential owner's objective? If the 49ers are super smart businessmen would selling imply they will have wrung everything they can out of the club? If you’ve turned your initial investment of a few hundred million into $1b why let go if there’s another billion to be made? Conversely , if $1b is the ceiling for profits why would someone else wish to buy the club for $1b with little prospect of seeing a sizeable return on their investment?
