I don’t think the Sunderland friendly is selling well. Not much of a surprise there, it’s in Harrison and at least 90% of US fans of the premier league seem to have chosen one of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchesters City or United or Liverpool to follow.
Had a look at tickets the other day, seems they’ve only opened the bottom section of the ground. I think capacity is around 25,000 for the full stadium. It’s a shame Leeds aren’t playing a more attractive club actually in New York. I’m sure Sunderland fans will be thinking the same.
