Harrison's a passenger. He only plays well occasionally. I've never been his number one fan but always happy to be proven wrong and have it shoved back in my face when he scores or crosses for a goal. He seems like a decent bloke and he works hard but for whatever reason he's not really done that much for 18 months. Like Bamford, his best days were under Bielsa.

Another story. When Marsch first arrived, in training he split them into 5 a side groups, one to have the ball, the other to get it back. He said to the first group, 'Ok, which are you choosing?'
'Err.. we'll have the ball then.'
'Wrong answer!!! You know how to play football, now you need to learn how to retrieve the ball. That's how we play now.'

Also mentioned Raphinha suddenly taking long throws. It all came about from a five minute fun session at the end of training, who could throw the ball furthest. Raph won. Right, you're taking throws front now on.

Is it fair to say fans who wanted Bielsa out are all for giving Marsch a chance. That's my flakey impression. It almost feels like they are doubling down on their position last February. Last February has gone and all of our opinions should be shaped on the new evidence.

Or to put it more simply are there many people who wanted Bielsa out who now have grave misgivings about Marsch? I suspect not.

It's Brexit all over again.

Is the obsession with Corberan the football?
Did a decent job with the dog botherers but ultimately failed and then got the bullet elsewhere after that.
There’s nothing to suggest he’d do anything special in the PL although I suppose he’s seen as a Bielsa mark 2 in some quarters.

Raposa absolutely is not a Bielsa MKII. Huddersfield did not play like Leeds at all. Built on solid defence really.

Failed to get Huddersfield promoted with a miniscule player budget.

If you read the article (12ft ladder) and then comment perhaps.

Football is football, if you can get the players respect and are well versed in tactics the PL is just another league. A solid well run team with some vision would be special for a club at Leeds' stage of development.

Mitaman I reckon it’s financing. You’ll know more than me but I doubt they’ll use their own money. I expect a mortgage on the club.
I’d love to know what currency the deal is in. I thought they might have jumped when the pound took a header during The Truss era😂

Jon The core asset currency is GBP of course, they would have bought a bucket load of sterling in any event 1. To prepare for full purchase or 2. To hedge the GBP they bought to buy earlier stock. Either way they’ll have it covered.

And yes, I fear you are right, they on advice from their bankers will load the club with all their debt. Its a very f&&king dark day if we become yet another leveraged buy-out. 😞 I am not jumping through hoops about all this, it has to be said.

Mitaman People seem eager for it to happen without knowing what it will entail. There seems to be an assumption that there’ll be an injection of cash. Maybe there will be but there’s been nothing to suggest this will happen that I’m aware of, unless I’ve missed something? In fairness, there’s been nothing to say that there won’t be either.
The 49ers are good at not say much at all really from what I’ve seen so far.
