Just finished Will S and Bunnymen, can't believe how fucked off i am that the photos were printed as black and white prints on random pages and not as glossies on special paper in the centre of the book (i'm sure @fulmine can give us the technical term) especially as i paid £20 fucking quid for it

CBIT Plates/inserts, I think. Yeah, I know what you mean and it’s quite a slight book as well, not much more than a few hundred pages. Like the little collage designs on the endpapers though (or are they flyleaves)?

I’ve read it multiple times. I think it’s one of the best football books ever written.

This time I’m going to look up the players mentioned see how their careers developed.

There’s a Chelsea player called Bamford I’m expecting great things from.

That Tarrantino book is ace. How it fleshes out Cliff Booth is brillaint. Tarrantino creates uber cool so easily and then how he flips between 'real life' the the narrative of Rick Dalton's TV shows is trememndous. He bought up the rights of a load of old America western TV shows so he could piss about with them - so many references to american pop culture - I am forever googling stuff as i am reading and I watched the pilot episode of Lancer the other day of the back of it - loving it.
