There's a lot of dramarama going on the Labour benches on this. Not least Brown who apparently raised concerns about Mandy years ago. Of course it was Brown who elevated him to the Lords after his first two resignations from government the slippery cunt. Up there with his saving us during the financial crisis, a crisis he helped stoke as Greenspan's leading Cheerleader. All this smacks of the government using surrogates to say "look look, we're hitting him, shall we give him Chinese burns?"
Personally I think he's guilty and I hope for a large helping of porridge. This, however, still needs to be brought to court and proved.
The government or it's surrogates sticking the boot in is merely misdirection on their part to distract from Brother Starmer's role in appointing him in the first place.
