Jon Foxy_Dread I admired his steadfast refusal to adore rot he hashtag thing. Looking forward to his book.
Harvest I keep hearing good things about the new Coral album. I've never really given them that much attention. I'll have a dabble.
Harvest I'm sat in the car watching my lad football training in the rain. I've got a big mug of tea and listening to this, one of my fave albums.
Jon Travis_Bickle That and Street Legal always play well together for me. Great album. Found all that stuff later, no big brother, but Christ, once I get on a Dylan kick it’s hard to listen to anyone else.
Foxy_Dread That LP was my gateway into Bob Dylan I was 11 or 12 and sharing a bedroom with my much older brother about four years after his motor bike accident. I'm going to have a few more beers and listen to this tipsy in the dark on the dog walk. Thanks.
Harvest It's been a while but working my way through the six Johnny Cash American Recordings albums. Some of his interpretations were wonderful. JC was cool as fuck.
Harvest Enjoyed the re-discover. They're a great body of work and as he ages through the series he brings a different angle to the tracks through his changing voice. There are a few tracks that can be skipped but on the whole he left us with some real treasures.
Foxy_Dread I'm about to give the Cocteau Twins a proper go for the first time. I've always loved Wax and Wane but it's time to try an LP. Heaven or Las Vegas for starters.
Mega_Armageddon_Chickens Foxy_Dread Treasure was always my favourite. I stopped listening after Victorialand which I thought was abysmal.
Anchor Rudi I fucking loved Eat. Always flummoxed me why there were not bigger. Ange was a great front man.
Placid Foxy_Dread I have, Gilles Peterson played some of the tracks. Sounds great, almost like what Talk Talk’s final album after Laughing Stock could have been if made now.
Jon Harvest It's perfect for summer. It's summer over here. Like a cross between Gruff Rhys and that Supergrass album Road To Rouen.
