Think Rudi is a fan. Didn’t you do covers? I’ve never really listened to it. There’s still loads of stuff I’ve never heard that people consider classic. Isn’t music ace.

Jon yeah, I love a bit of Beefheart, more of fan of Clear Spot or some of the less lunatic stuff. It is an acquired taste, but once it gets hold of you it starts weaving its magic. I was in a Beefheart covers band very briefly with a few fellas who were much more diehard than me. Tricky stuff to play, there's all sorts of mad time signatures and tunings. I think we lasted about six rehearsals before the aficionados started moaning that we "weren't doing Beefheart properly"

Foxy_Dread We couldn't even agree on a name, but funnily enough we did get a spread in the Reader's Digest. I can't remember exactly how it came about, it could have been through DHM, but they sent this photographer round to the guitarist's flat which was down near the old docks, a bit of a ropey part of town. He turned up with all this expensive flash gear to be met with five middle aged blokes dressed like extras from a Tom Waits song . My one concession to Beefheart style garb was a battered straw hat worn at a coquettish angle. We were supposed to look like The Magic Band if they had all been dragged off a trawler in 1974. It was all getting a bit out of hand, by that point. We mastered two songs, the ones below, before everyone got fed up. It was a good laugh though. I'll try and find the magazine and post it up on here. We did have a name in the article, but I've clean forgot it. Summat boring, like The Beefies.

Listening to Spiritualized - Lazer Guided Melodies. Reminds me of a good time in my life (not just the one). Going to dust off all of their albums over the next few days. If I'm not here in a week you know why.

Harvest I was very, very late to Spiritualized. I like that album but I'm a sucker for the gospel tinged stuff the most.

Beats me how I never even heard anything by them until I got into Spiritualized. Used to read their name in NME regularly and they'd play The Duchess now and again. Guess you can't listen to everything can you?

I'm moving my sales pipeline into Power Query so I can call an API for the data and transformation.

Started getting a null to logical error half way through rules and it was driving me mad. Turns out someone had entered incorrect data via an import that skipped field validation and inserted a null date I was expecting from the source system.

Sorted it at midnight last night and went to bed happy.

Cheers for asking. You nearly got a PM on Wednesday for help ;)

Anyway...back to the albums.
