This bollocks excuse about the birthday party being trotted out on Tv this morning. the 30 people work together so it doesn't matter? What utter crap. dining street is a huge complex of office buildings spread over 3 floors and while maybe some of those attending do work in the same office and might have had socially distanced meetings with the PM, most of them will not have been in contact with each other in the course of a normal working day. For them to then organise a get together (obviously planned as a cake was bought in advance) in one room to celebrate a birthday was obviously against the rules.
And we have that smirking laughing twat Grant shapps on TV this morning basically laughing it off as a work meeting with a cake, and then his excuse for the interior designer being there was that she wasn't invited? WTF? Can you imagine if somebody in an office had arranged a birthday party after work for 30 people?
