What odds on Mourinho being the first Premier League manager to get sacked? Watching the game against Everton and Spurs haven’t got a clue. The players body language is really poor, to the extent that I reckon he’s “lost the dressing room”. Levy doesn’t fuck about, either.
CharlieG I agree. If Poch is like his footballing father he will have had that team overachieving. Levy is the one at fault for their current predicament, he should never have sacked Poch and did so to cover his own arse for not supplying funds when they were asked for. Fuck Spurs anyway, never liked them and took the piss out of us when we had our financial meltdown. Cunts.
Blunts 2 down in six minutes. Wolves looking really slick.
Bloody hell, the schedule is so much lighter in this bluffers league - we don’t play a midweek league game until 2 in mid-late December, then 2 more in Jan, 1 in Feb, then 1 in May. Piece of piss. Should give Marcelo plenty of time to drill the players and allow them to recover.
Depends on the cups @Mike_Jones
Mr Ben White gets his first game at Brighton I see.
Loose_Lips And got subbed
Am I the only one who hasn’t even thought about the Championship, or even looked at the scores? It felt weird not looking at the EFL fixtures for the first time for 16 years, but I’ve got used to it very quickly. However, we’ll have to see how the season pans out…
90Piesanhour Me too, couldn’t give a monkeys now. Same as I had zero interest in the PL for 16 years. I watched Match of the Day for the first time in 18 years or so.
..and some Brighton fans none too impressed!
Seems he’s not feeling the love yet, albeit only one game in!
Possibly injured. I will still give the championship a lot of attention, it’s a great league.
There’s a good game going on this morning in South Korea, Jeonbuk v Ulsan, the top two. C’mon Ulsan.
Raposa let’s see if whoever their manager is can get a tune out of him and if not can we have a live feed of their chairman wondering why he turned our offer down.
Raposa Its bizarre isn’t it. The lad is a future England captain, without a doubt. They need to give him a chance.
Just had a quick look at a Brighton forum, sad fucker aren’t I. On there they seem positive about him.
Reggie_Perrin White’s a clever lad, I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t do really well at Brighton.
Me too,he’s too good a player not to.
Raposa Yeah, but however well he plays it’s still Brighton, in for a relegation scrap again - last year’s 41 points was their highest ever. Hope he has a relegation clause in his new contract stating that if relegated Leeds United can buy him for 10 million quid.
Brighton will stay up with barely a scare this year.
West Brom were unlucky. Played some great stuff against Everton.
Aye, another decent game.
That Mike Dean though,he really is a piece of work isn’t he?
Is it any wonder he’s the most disliked ref by the players and managers?
Pompous, arrogant, dismissive and to be honest not even one of the better referees.
The egotistical officials In the PL was one thing that I’d not taken into account when we got promoted.
