Sorry this is not really Krautrock-related (though Thurston Moore has played with Michael Rother) but just the last few weeks I've had a trawl through the Sonic Youth back catalogue. Flip me, but they had some tunes. Even leaving aside the boss 80s and early 90s stuff, there's a whole album from the 2000s, Sonic Nurse, that I'd never heard at all and is chock-full with great tracks.
