I watched it last night. I like Grand Designs but mainly the ‘normal’ folk who shit themselves by only having their own house as capital as they either build a new house of their dreams or transform somewhere. i sit there thinking ‘i wish I had the balls to do that’ and come away feeling both frustrated for my lack of bottle and respectful for the people underaking such a risk.

But this graveyard one was stupid. Born with a silver spoon, forks out an initial £1.8m and then ends up spending £2.7m with an overall spend of £4.5m. get real.

heyho George Clarke is more like the realistic Grand Designs for people who arent Architects and Designers with million pound budgets.

I started watching the cemetery one and lost interest when he went to his mums mansion in Scotland, will have a look though as its good to have a glegg at other folks ideas and designs.

I watched the cemetery one, very impressive, a real feat of engineering, that stone staircase must have cost a fortune on it’s own. Did he really need to spend all that though, there was only him and his son living there, bit of over indulgence there, good episode though. I thought he was going to bring out a new dog when he said he had a new addition to the household.
