Flaneur My point is the whole of junior football in Liverpool was cancelled this weekend because of the shit that referees are getting. That's a huge statement - a whole load of upset kids and parents. I'm sure, and I'd be very surprised if not, that the Junior FA have spoken to Liverpool and Everton this weekend and said 'Set us an example'. It would have been a huge statement. The message obviously didn't get through.
I think most managers over react. I don't care what the situation is, the referee won't change his mind, they can cry all they like - our manager did, he's a tit. They need to show some dignity, all of them.
