As Cordshoes says, they are building a new stadium and they should be playing there in 18 months time. How long did a new ground set Arsenal back, 15 years. Maybe that wasn't the only issue, but it didn't help.
Going down would or could be a disaster.
I know a few Everton who said a few years ago, they'd quite like a season or two in the Championship, but it doesn't work like that does it.
Also, if they do go down, they ll be on Sky quite a lot, on a Friday night and that soon wears thin for those that go. Tuesday night at Reading followed by Rotherham at home on the Saturday, in a 60,000 all seater stadium, not so sure about that.
