As for Qatar, corruption and dubious morals have always been part of the world cup but it's the brazen-ness of this that gets me. It's like they can barely be arsed to say "but it's all about the beautiful game". In some ways this is the logical choice based on the way that football is going. I wonder how many Newcastle, Man City and PSG supporters are boycotting it?
My eldest is boycotting it with all the moral certainty of a 17 year old, youngest is like "yeah, but, you know, it's the World Cup". I'm leaning toward the eldest's stance, but, you know, Uruguay look good...
