Renatino find the ubiquity of CP Company goggles particularly upsetting. The Mille Miglia jacket when it came out in 88/89 was simply jaw dropping. Roll forward 35 years and CP Company put goggles and watch viewers on anything & everything.
Stone Island is now the fashion equivalent of cosplay, as are the majority of Adidas trainers. Nobody in ‘84 would’ve dreamt about going to the match dressed in gear from 1949. Massimo Osti was about the future, not recreating the past.
Stone Island, CP, Addidas Trainers, Paul & Shark. Identikit fooligan schmutter
See men in their 60’s with their sons wearing the same clobber. Looking ridiculous. Sharing cubicles.
Id never heard of “Osti” till 2008. Once had sone SI trousers from Strand I think. Shit fit. But been immpressed with the marketing behind the companies.
My lads laugh at “badge in” brigade. Now the phrase “just in case owt kicks off” is used humouressly if someone is wearing it.
