No, we’re down already. Wilder would be at worst a short term solution to going down with a bit of fight & pride. As far as I am concerned it’s about not beating Derby’s lowest points total. He’d smash some tea cups & loosen a few coughs, which is what is needed. Hecky hasn’t got the ear of the dressing room if we’re conceding after 17 secs from kick off today and within a few minutes of the re-start last week.
Before today, I reckoned we’d be lucky not to ship 16 goals in our next 4 games; after today I reckon we’ll hit that number before halftime in the 3rd game. We are woefully underprepared & off the pace. As daft as it sounds, if we keep Hecky, I don’t think that there’d be much difference in him managing out the rest of the season or us not fielding a side for the remaining matches and losing everyone 3-0 walkover. It’s that bad.
