Jon No doubting City have a case. However as I understand it is the sheer volume of charges that is fucking it up. Again as I understand it Forest have one charge. So easier to deal with.

It's such a great system the premier league are binning it off next season.

On a Forest related note. No denying they have fucked it up. The attitude and scatter gun approach of the club toward signings. Seems there were three separate sets of people making signings.

When we signed Scarpa Cooper had no idea we'd signed him. He thought he was scoping him as a potential Oly signing for the owner. Essentially a trialist. Likewise the first he knew about Santos signing was when he saw him on the training pitch and was told he'd signed.

You can't run a club like that. Fucking mess. If we get six points I'll be relieved and hope they learn a fucking lesson.

Anchor we are being held to account for a two month period toward the end of the summer window 2023. If we had sold Johnson to Brentford prior to submission of the paperwork at a fee 12.5m lower than we received from Spurs we would be ok.

The forest business model in the Championship was based around them overspending via loans from their owner which would then be turned into share equity before the FFP deadlines hit. They've been doing this for years. Looks like they missed a deadline and got caught out.

They were caught out trying to rinse as much money out of Spurs for Brennan Johnson. Ended up being over for two months.

Plus the horrific transfer policy they have and the rubbish players they signed with the three separate transfer sections in the club.

They had best learn a lesson.

If we end up with an asterisk after our name for this season will be the first time ever in our history.

Another issue for me is this is yet another system heavily stacked in favour of the big clubs - so for example Forest come up and to compete we have to spend and have an owner with ambition who wants to spend. However we have to include in this round of reports two seasons from the champs were your losses can only be 13m a season and we are competing against established clubs who can lost 35m a seaason. Whole things is a mess.

Not against the laws but is still a greasy method of deliberately overspending. This is how Chelsea and Citeh got away with flooding money into their club without sanction. Forest were still spending more than the FFP limits and then adjusting it downwards before the end of the accounting period. They failed to do it in time one season so yes they broke the rules. They repeatedly gamed the systems loophole and fucked up.

Actually matey, I might be mixed up. I think I got confused with that cunt from the Channel Islands that owned Bristol City. He was the one doing FFP + £30 mill a year. In perspective Villa do about £70 mill/year. I know Forest were chucking money down the drain too but can't remember the numbers.

Regard the betting - I don't really care if a rich footballer wants to chuck his money away. I have an issue with betting and shirt sponsors and all that - don't get me wrong. I have a family member hopelessly addicted to gambling.

My gripe here is the Skysports narrative and Toney love in on his return. it stinks.
