Travis_Bickle I’m not ‘rolling out’ for them. I do wonder what people suggest Israel should have been done?
Not spent 70 years allowing "settlers" to evict Palestinians from land in Palestine.
For example, where Hamas have built ‘command and control centres’ in schools and hospitals?
One has to wonder just how many "Command and Control Centres" Hamas has. They must be like arseholes. Everyone must have one.
"According to the United Nations, 477 out of 564 school buildings in Gaza had been directly hit or damaged as of 6 July, with more than a dozen targeted since. Source UN: 10 Aug 2024"
"The Israeli army has destroyed or damaged all 12 universities in the Gaza Strip, by means of air strikes or bombs. Le Monde: 7 Mar 2024."
"Since October 7, the WHO has recorded a total of 890 attacks on health facilities, with 443 occurring in Gaza and 447 in the West Bank. (As of 20 May 2024)"
"According to the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate, around 70 press facilities, including local radio stations, news agencies, transmission towers, and journalist training institutes, have been partially or completely destroyed since October 7. 26 Jun 2024"
Where tunnels under residential areas are used? What was a proportionate response? What form does that take?
As per previous post. If some bad guy is hiding under a building full of civilians, you can't just drop a bomb on it and blame them for the consequences. That's not how rules of engagement are structured for anyone other than the dictatorships.
There seems to be this idea that you can somehow separate out the civilian and military in such scenarios. You can’t. It’s literally never happened.
I refer to the answer above.
Does that excuse all of the actions of the IDF? Of course not. I’m no cheerleader for Netanyahu. He’s arguably set back a peaceful future for Israelis by decades.
I do however agree with that last sentence in essence. He has provoked all through his tenure because once he's out of power he's in jail. He'll kill a million to cling on to what he sees as his legacy.
