There’s a huge rise in racist and anti semitic attacks in the UK since the aftermath of October 2023. Attacks on both communities are wholly unacceptable.
Can the government then apply the same standards to the behaviour of the far right, the language they use, the violence directly in front of the police, the rise in racist attacks yet the lack of arrests. Isn’t hate speech a crime ?
Why the double standards ? This is what grates many of us. I read about racist behaviour and hear racist language being used in the UK that I thought was long gone . How long I last in the UK is debatable … I don’t want my kid growing up around this. Yet the government sits by, takes no action, and is let’s be honest , pandering to the right to trying to take votes from Reform. Thick cunts, both of them.
This strays from why I’m on this thread, which is how were the state of Israel allowed to massacre over 70000 Palestinians, including +20000 innocent kids (though many Israelis would argue that seeing as they’re killing the parents they should kill the kids just in case they seek revenge later in life ..) and continue to persecute the population of Gaza and also start making inroads into the West Bank ?
Western governments have paid lip service to ending the invasion of Gaza and the killings . Publicly making the right noises but in the background continuing arms sales to Israel, introducing policy to limit the right to protest …
Perhaps I’m naive and deluded into thinking the killings will stop . They won’t though will they .
