Flaneur yeah he's definitely better dressed here. It looks like an M-65 field coat, but that added 1st world war epaulette is saying "fashion brand" I thought an M-65 field coat, possibly a McCoys https://therealmccoys.jp/products/mj23005/150-olv but the cut deviates from the original M-65 cut and is not in a jungle fabric. Solid 8/10 on Squire's jacket though, this M-65 style is somewhat the jacket de jour of sensible dads in Japan and has been for a while.
Liam's, lots of pockets going on, not a bad thing, and I like the RAF style button up lapel on the front, looks like a ripstop material, prefer sticking to a sateen / jungle fabric myself on a big coat. Not sure about the popped collar, but he looks ready for aaaaaaccccccctttiiiiiiiioooooonnn.
