Anchor He's not standing. We've now got posh boy Bradley Anthony Thomas from out in the sticks near Evesham standing. No fuckers heard of him. No fucker has seen him. Not even had a leaflet through the door.
Bromsgrove would have been a slam dunk for Labour if they had chosen the local council leader Sam Ammar as candidate, but instead they sent up someone from London (Neena Gill?) , probably because Ammar has been quite vocal about support for Palestine (I think she herself is half palestinian). Ammar is now standing as an independent and is getting a lot of support - she's quite popular around here despite it being a Tory town.
Last night the wife of a labour councillor was on social media accusing Ammar of sending "explicit pictures" to people - an accusation that has been passed to the plod.
So we've got a Reform mong splitting the Tory vote for the van driving brethren and Ammar splitting the Labour/middle class Tory vote.
It's tough to call. The people I know are not voting the same as they did last time out and it's all over the place.
The reform crowd are the ex-Ukip crowd and they're the people that I knew who used to vote Labour. Tories and old Labour are voting for the now independent labour candidate. Fuck knows who is voting for the new Labour candidate here - I don't know anyone saying they're voting Labour. Wife was Labour all her life, now voting Green ("I've had enough of people. I'm saving the planet."). It's a fucking mystery who'll get in here. As I said before, the only people who have been visible is Ammar and the reform knobhead.
