Foxy_Dread it's just another stage of turning the 'European Cup' into a 'European Super League', that started in 1992. The end result will be 2 leagues of 18 teams. They'll move towards an American model, have a full season of matches, then have a play off system, play off final and then a super cup between the winners of the leagues. They'll have big games played globally paid for by the highest bidder.
Teams that finish in the bottom 3 will be relegated out of the competition, and replaced by domestic league winners.
UEFA will pick the 'biggest' 36 teams based upon someone crazy 50 yr co-efficient and it'll be rigged so that unless a Man Utd level side has a total collapse, they'll never leave the two league system, and if a team like Leicester ever wins their domestic league, they'll enter into the second league and not disrupt the status quo in the top league.
