First game yesterday, FA Cup Extra Preliminary round

Garforth vs Northallerton
Attendance 200 odd

Garforth dominated and played some great football. An easy 2-0 win.

Bumped into my mate who did this last season. He did it from Round 1 but is starting at Extra Prelim round.

Oddjob, Danny and me plonked ourself right in front of the pitchside bar.

A thouroughly enjoyable experience. Few pints and some chips and gravy for snap.

Some rowdy chanting from the travelling North Allerton fans, to be greeted with “Your support is fucking shit” from a big group of 12 year olds..

Next round is Prelimnary Round Garforth vs Heaton & Stannington 17th August 3pm ko

Hoping for a Heaton win as its where my son lives at Uni. So following round would be a decent awayday

Placid despite the results being overwhelming shite, pre-season's been a laugh this year. Some new grounds. Mossley FC was a cracking little place with a decent group of dedicated fans.
One thing you notice with a lot of these grounds is the quality of the food. I think it was Warrington Town that had chips cooked in an actual chip pan. I know it's become a bit clichéd but there's a lot to be said for visiting non-league grounds.
