As you went in, on the right hand side by the door the X, Y, Z section finished off. I always used to check if Neil Young’s, ‘Comes A Time’ had gone, but it never did. It was there for months and months.
Everything was closed on Sundays. I remember walking down Coney Street, early 93. It was like a ghost town. No shops open, no tourists, completely dead. Mentioned it on here before but my Glastonbury highlight after four visits was Donovan one afternoon, in a little marquee with a couple of The Mondays, Paul Ryder been one of them. He was just about to start when I went in after seeing his name chalked on a board outside. Can’t have been more than a hundred people in there. He played all the good stuff, including this track. It was so good - a warm mid-afternoon, a tiny venue and everybody nodding along. Anyway, 70s next. This is Colours
