My Nana (my Dad’s mum) bottom left (1904 to 2000). This must be pre First World War. Her dad was a bootmaker and had a shop in Boston Spa. My daughter has a strong look of her. Her youngest brother Les, (bottom right) came back from a Japanese prisoner of war camp after WW2 with one leg. He later ran the Fox & Hounds at Boston Spa for decades.
Her other brother sat next to her (Arthur) used to smoke a pipe and once watched Zulu with me when I was about 10 and my Nana made us chips to see us through the film as it was getting late. I don’t know much about her sister (Gladys) but my Nana once told me that she was “big boned”.
