fulmine A really good read that, thanks for sharing. Interesting on the role of Balfe in the Teardrops, and also the idea that the whole 'Julian and lots of acid' view as pushed by Head On has tended to obscure how good they were musically.
I reckon an afternoon in the pub with Mick Houghton recounting his tales would be a wonderful experience; I enjoyed Fried & Justified, and have made a note to get the Mick Simpson book.
