CBIT There was a record shop in Shrewsbury called Left For Dead. I was in the other week looking at books. Then I noticed all the records had gone.
I asked the chap and he told me vinyl is cooked.
'the wives have won' is how he put it.
Said the market is fucked. It's too expensive and the re selling prices are through the floor. The market is finite. Radio 6 dads in their late 50s have realised they are being mugged off, they don't have the time to play them and they are cumbersome and their wives moan like fuck at them.
He said he didn't get many kids in at all.
Also is doing ok out of books. I wonder what the mark up is on a £10 book.
