Just watched the first of these on the recommendation, and as I do like his superbly researched stuff.
There is a book I like, which covers a similar time in Berlin, from 1918-1945
Although it’s fictional, it does include large amounts of factual stuff, as is revealed towards the end.
Written by Ben Elton, but it is a serious piece of storytelling.
