This whole thing stinks of the establishment closing ranks. Cunts like Starmer chirping on that Glastonbury is not the place for bands to make statements like that. Why the fuck does he think Glastonbury was created in the first place? It was formed on the back of dissent and despite the best efforts of the corporate establishment to sanitise it still throws up some avenues of dissent (although thats difficult to realise at times when avowed right wing fuckwits like Rod Stewart are singing the praises of Farage and complaining about having the teatime slot).
There's another band that being investigated for starting a chant 'death to the IDF' under these ridiculous draconian terrorism laws. This being the same IDF that killed over 400 Palestinian civilians this week who were trying to reach food checkpoints and were starving due to the Israelis imposed policy of ethnic cleansing and starvation into submission.
The whole thing has lost perspective. A band making a political statement is now a crimes? Come on. I don't remember overtly racist bands like Skrewdriver being hounded by the establishment in the same way Kneecap are for trying to highlight the ongoing injustices being dished out by the Israelis and the supporters. In this world would the Specials Free Nelson Mandela be banned and the band banged up?
This government stinks. It's been coming a long time, Tories and Brexit setting the stage and moving the country as a whole to the right so that to gain any kind of support even the Labour party have to act like Tory clowns.
Sunday rant over. Cunts.
