Colorado is full of military installations and contractors. Their general red-neckedness is on a par with alabama but they have brains and many have military experience that doesn't amount to being cannon fodder. It'll be interesting to see how many move (if any at all). Colorado Springs way they have a good standard of living - the same cannot be said of alabama. Cheap down there though in comparison. Martin-Marietta et al will be skimming the top bods that is for sure, so they'll definitely have recruitment issues in Alabama.
