1.) What we are seeing now is truly mind boggling.
2.) The USA can't come out with a joined up, semi coherent reason why they're doing what they're doing. All attempts to defend/explain what they're doing go against international law.
3.) They are contradicting themselves at every turn. Israel basically called it on & the US followed. All this bollocks about enriching uranium? I think that it's perfectly legal under international law. Iran's nuclear sites? I think that they were quite happy for them to be inspected.
4.) Why would a country agree to basically not have a fully functioning military & weapons system? Would we expect the same acquiesce from the Ministry of Defence if asked to do the same by another country?
5.) Any attempt to resolve the matter by negotiation or transition has been and is being thwarted, and all the raw materials for a power vacuum and civil war created.
6.) This is basically, vengeful, blood lust politics on behalf of Israel, settling scores from the 70's & 80's. The US is now being a party to whether they like it or not. Probably with the promise of an oil/rebuild pay off.
7.) This is just the start. Wait until Israel wants to expand into the biblical greater Israel, as Huckerbee has already said he's happy about. Wait until the US takes Cuba, or Greenland or Iceland or the Falklands, etc.
