Misura It’s been less than two weeks. He’s only just into the second year of four. The popular vote isn’t really relevant right now is it? Mid terms in November.

But on the subject of popular votes. He only carried it by 1.5% after the Dems ran a terrible campaign with a man who had no business holding office and left Harris scrambling for 100 days without the endorsement of heavyweights like Obama until very late in the game.

I reckon the only reason the British Government didn’t ask if they could come along too was because they were unaware it was happening until they turned on the news.
Having spent time in both countries I’ve come to the conclusion Americans and English people aren’t that different. How’s that fringe party Reform getting on over there?

Check notes, well they've not kidnapped an elected leader and his missus, not threatened to invade Greenland, not threatened a 'friendly take over' of Cuba. not bombed the shit out of Iran twice, not stood back and watched/facilitated Israel commit mischief in Gaza & the West Bank, not introduced the goon squad onto the streets of its cities, not imposed punitive tariffs on trading partners, not griffted the best part of $4bn since taking office and not been complicit in Russia's continued war against Ukraine. Re Venezuela - cuntish behaviour alright but the Yanks have been doing that for decades, CIA funnelling funds and advisors into Latin America to arm insurgents to overthrow some democratically elected leader who has designs on nationalising United Fruits' plantations or legislating for unions and decent wages.

Part of me thinks at least Trump is up front about it. And Maduro will at least get some semblance of a trial rather than end up with his head on a spike.
