Most people know this song , from the days when MTV was of use to me.
Forgotten & rediscovered by me since i bought a second hand 70s music centre and liberated the vinyl from the loft.
I think its a very rounded song that showcases the band as a whole & individually ,from Big Johns Guitar and Shirleys vocals , decently written .

I have heard of this lot, and vaguely remember hearing this many moons ago. Listening again explains why I never listened to them again. Sorry Ken, I hope your brother and your musical taste recover. That is fucking awful. Terrible lyrics, terrible sound, as Pies says, Deacon Blue, Wet wet Wet all that flabby white boy bedsit angst type stuff. Ugh, horrible, makes me shudder with the banality of it all.

I can dislike songs and recognise they have merit but not with this one.
