otis I could have gone for numerous songs by Roxy, but this still stands out as my favourite. I think Ferry is on point here. Posted the live version first as I think when the sirens start going for it, it’s the bollocks. I first seen this video at one of the older lads who put me up when staying with up Seacroft in the 80’s (when my mam had kicked me out, again) No nostalgia except for mental Sunday seshes in Wilsons, Pathy and gate. https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=both+ends+burning+roxy&mid=A65039DA9522032674A4A65039DA9522032674A4&FORM=VIRE https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=both+ends+burning+roxy&mid=E8BFC4CEC75A363A01E7E8BFC4CEC75A363A01E7&FORM=VIRE This should be in ace photos. https://th.bing.com/th/id/OIP.Yc6VPI7UXlTFdsYMTiwi4gHaFX?w=203&h=180&c=7&r=0&o=5&pid=1.7 If someone could do me the honours and sort out the video links so they show as video, appreciated
90Piesanhour Don’t even have to listen to be able to give this a 10/10, or more. Early Roxy Music were one of my main music loves before punk appeared. They still sound different, now, and have been a massive influence on other artists. Top, top choice.
Young_Marxist_at_Tescos Never into RM when I was a kid. Am now though. This, Streetlife, VP. Very classy.
CharlieG Classic. End of. Ferry was cool AF until he became a class traitor . Yer workin' class yer bugger, man.
Foxy_Dread I now like two Roxy songs, a splendid choice. 9/10. I most have a poke around in their early stuff.
