While we generally have little interest in World Club football, it is massive in South America. It is a very important tournament to them, arguably THE most important. I have been in the middle of River Plate fans and Boca fans on two occasions and I can tell you, they take more than Leeds!

Cant see many South American, Central American, Africa, Asian, Middle Eastern, anti Trump Europeans, Canadians (well everyone really) risk going to the WC matches in the States and potentially being pulled aside by Border Control, being shipped off anonymously to a privately run detention centre and subsequently sent to a hi-risk prison in El Salvador.

Read an Athletic article yesterday about how they’re offering college students a ticket for $20s including 4 complimentary tickets for the opening game. Seems they’ve gone the dynamic pricing route the Gallaghers chose too. At this rate they might end up paying people to attend some games.
