Placid I think we've talked about the Macca transformation. He was a slick backed haired yuppie in Next and worked for BT in sales when I saw him last then, 5 years later he's an uber thug with hands like shovels. Last I saw of him he was in a pub/club near me, he scared me.
king_of_the_slums Placid yeah, I bumped into him at that big pub in London Bridge station, 1998 for Tottenham v Leeds in the FA Cup. Hadn’t seen him in 10 years. I was with a Spurs mate. Macca was lovely TBH, but well into it, trying to phone in a meet. In between trips to the bogs. Spurs won 2-0, and at the end I saw him trying to get into the Spurs end. We had half of a goal-end stand. Last I saw he had a policeman’s helmet in his hands screaming his head off. Mental.

king_of_the_slums Jon Yeah, he was leaning over fence taking pot shots, nearly got over and came back down with a Bobby's helmet in his hands. I went for a pint in the Cockerel pub before kick-off, my Spurs mate said, don't talk in here.. 😄
