CharlieG From the bits that I watched - Franz Ferdinand were pretty good. Wunderhorse require further investigation. 1975 was a dull/bland year for music and their front man is in danger of appearing in the cunts thread. The Capaldi lad was alright for a couple of songs then became a bit samey - good for him that he's got back on the horse, so to speak, after his difficulties.
space CharlieG The Capaldi lad was alright for a couple of songs then became a bit samey He's just Adele with a cock. When I hear either of them all I can think of is "You got dumped. Shut the fuck up and move on."
Under-the-ground CharlieG Wunderhorse are good. Nothing new, but the youngsters love em. The energy of the crowd was great
Old-smiley-badge Osees were awesome. Proper full on rock n roll musical extravaganza! What Glastonbury should be about rather than some of the other overrated dull mainstream bands that get their arses licked. On the iPlayer if you are interested.
90Piesanhour 90Piesanhour Just watching it now. Great stuff. Love the 2 drummers, perfectly in synch. 🥁🥁
CBIT Enjoyed Franz Ferdinand, Self Esteem and Four Tet were blinding. He’s just a total fucking knob Tim and Denise’s lad with his pint of Guinness and fag and the fake pissed up look, I lasted one and bit songs.
Travis_Bickle Under-the-ground saw them support Sam Fender. Like you say, nothing particularly new, but they do it very well.
EEPW numan. stand out set for me so far. love the grunge versions of cars and are friends electric. plus down in the park. my favorite
90Piesanhour Djpekingman He is. As I’ve mentioned before, he once told ‘Smash Hits’ that he thought Thatcher was the best thing to happen to the UK. Silly Cunt.
EEPW Djpekingman if you think he only has 2 songs i suggest you check out his set. you might be shocked. and hopefully pleasantly surprised
Mitaman Watched about 5 minutes of The 1975 on the basis I had never heard of them and they have 5 No.1 albums. Aside from the frontman being a total cock, I thought they were absolute shit. I thought No1 albums meant you must be half-decent?
hendersonjones Haven’t seen any of it , but i’ve seen photos of a chaotic crowd watching kneecap , and a almost empty field for Neil Young For what it’s Worth
Placid Thought Ezra Collective were brilliant. Wetleg good also. Not my cup of tea Little Simz superb
AndreWeimaraner I liked John Fogerty best so far. CMAT, Beth Gibbons, the bits of Kneecap I’ve seen. Missed Numan, Neil Young and Little Simz, so need to catch up on them. I find it weird that Shed Seven are now seen as some sort of national treasures though.
Young_Marxist_at_Tescos There’s a list (long) of stuff I’ve never done. Glastonbury is one of them. I’d be tapping the flag wavers on the shoulder. “Sorry, could you just….I can’t see fuck all for that”
