if he doesnt get Boro promoted or they have a bad run then the fans will turn on him and he'll get fired.
So, all he would be doing is leaving before he eventually gets fired, for a better paid gig in the PL, that will offer a bigger pay off and more leverage for the gig after that, when he inevitably gets fired by Wolves.
For your average manager, is there actually an incentive to be successful these days ?
