A relatively recent addition to my Fall listening. Started filling in a few (of the many) gaps where I’d inexplicably drifted away from paying attention to them, for whatever reason and dropped on this, on The Unutterable.

My prediction for responses to this choice is that we’ll discover once again that some OMJers absolutely love The Fall while others don’t get them at all, have never liked them and think their output is an unlistenable racket.
I’m in the former camp but at this stage there’s as much chance of agreement on their merits as there is of the Israel thread finding common ground.

Poor connection but an ace track and a great excuse to play the mighty Fall. So much going off in this. One can see where Fontaines DC got their ideas from.

I'm in the really should like them camp but find myself really liking some of their stuff and really not liking some of their stuff - I have a go on them every few years or so. There must be an awful lot they have done I like as their output is ridic.

Anyway - I really like this one.
