A mate is involved in getting them out.
I think Blunket brought it in (or was a lead MP on it) and since then is a campaigner for getting it sorted.
My mate is a bit of an arsehole however. Prior to Blunket changing his mind (which to be fair give the man credit on that as he thinks its his biggest regret) my mate is at a charity event raising awareness on it and Blunket walks in.
They get into, lets say, a debate over it and whether this charity is actually doing any good.
It gets a bit heated and my mate caps it off with '...fucking hell Dave, just look around at this lot. It's the blind the leading the fucking blind.'
Someone whisked him off at that point. I believe he found it funny.
