Going to try to take the lad to a few home games this season. He's itching to go. Quick question, how hard is it to get tickets with a standard membership? Do you need the membership "plus" really to be in with a shout or is it still possible with the standard membership?

It's been a few years since I've been and I know it's a lot harder to get tickets these days.

I had the standard membership last season and out of the 6 games I applied for was successful just the once for the Fulham game.
Others may have been more successful.

Think I entered the ballots on at least half a dozen occasions and had no joy there either.

I actually went to more away games due to favours from colleagues and friends.

Was gonna fuck it off this season but the grandson wants us to stick with it so may even have to reluctantly upgrade to the membership plus .

The plus is dogshit.

Two seasons not one ticket on the day before.

So I dropped it.

It’s fuck loads of us chasing 700 one day early tickets.

Every ticket I have ever had post my season tickets was on the main release day with everyone else.

You should be able to at least get some league cup and possibly FA Cup matches in, not everyone takes up their season ticket priority applications. Plus there are some pre season friendlies coming up.

We've had membership + for years and never failed to get tickets i applied for but last season was the worst, I got Spurs at home and Derby away and Chelsea in the Semi. There's just too many members now Leeds are in the prem

I have a priority+ membership and found going on half an hour or more later than sale time was easier to get tickets. Never failed to get any I wanted last season and was easier selecting seats.

Lost my long term membership priorities when I failed to respond to an email that I never read a few years ago
When I rang them to complain as I never read my emails I got told tough luck.
Pretty lucky since getting tickets though weekday afternoons I'm at work where the purchase of anything is a strict no no.
The club send me some straight to recycle tat in the autumn to cheer me up though

Yep, League 1 was a piece of piss to get tickets, never seen Leeds play so much home and away in those days.
Kind of resentful at times when you watch on TV and it's packed nowadays. That's success for ya!
