Dinosaur Jnr : Freak Scene

YoungParisian_inExile

Last track: Wire - in Vivo
Link: Leo Fitzpatrick/ The Wire / Kids

one ... he's an old friend and ... plays Johhny Weeks in the Wire but made his name in Larry Clark's 'Kids'
Lou Barlow of Dinosuar Jnr pretty much did the whole soundtrack for Kids .
I like mid/ late 80's pre grunge/ noise ... Breeders, Pixies, Lemonheads, Sonic Youth, Hüsker Du , Dinsoaur Jnr .

There are very few better tunes and very few better guitarists.
Excellent.

Late 88 if I remember rightly. It was a good time for me and the song's great so happy memories all round.

Nice link.

I never got on with these noise merchants. All you mention. Pre grunge.

The odd track by some.

I like Sugar though. Do they fit into that bracket.

Anyway. Not for me with the Jr's.

👍

Harvest

Not heard this for years, it's aged well.

Thames Poly Cellar Bar indie discos 1988/89.

Nostalgia aside, it's a great little pop song.
