I've been there.

There's a thread on here called 'Krakow'..same as this like.

It's a weird place.

Go to the Irish bars.

One called M'Bassey.

Great grub and British birds in there who are usually on Hen nights.

The centre bit is alright (wasn't touched in the war due to the Germans getting out sharpish as the Russians found the Death Camps) and there is a load of Eastern European style building around the centre.

As you can probably tell, I won't be going back.

But worth going once.

Was there Jan last year. Great bars, food not so great. If theres a concert on in the square watch out for random bursts of flames spewing out from every corner, they'll singe yer eyebrows off if yer not carefull. I tell you its health and safety gone completely missing

Trip up to the castle is worthwhile

Jewish Quarter is a bit more swish and hip (are they the right words these days. i was going to say cool) Not as tolerant of the stag scene though, take that as a good thing

Just returned from a 4 day stag. Feel really sketchy.

Worst food ever unless you like meat and cabbage in vinegar. I can still smell the vinegar and every time I do I get a watery jaw!

Went shooting and that was epic! Shot a Kaleshnikov, Glock 9mm, Pump-action shot gun, Lugger & Smith Wesson.

Didn't see Auswitz as all members of the stag were too ruined by the day we planned to go. A lad on the stag from Barnsley couldn't tell me enough how much he hated Leeds United and all the club stood for. If it had been appropriate I would have pulled the front end of his face off. Proper twat.

I wouldn't go again to be fair. The Poles have misery and torture etched over their face and the mood is generally sombre. Being sandwiched between Russia and Germany must be a shitter.

5/10 - wank.

Had a similar experience on a stag do last year, in Leeds, which Heyho was on too. But in fairness, this one twat was an Evertonian prick and a lot older, hitting him would have been like the police causing a 47 year by stander to have a fatal heart attack.

My son is on his way back from Krakow today. Yesterday he went to Auschwitz.

Me: I’d heard a rumour about that, yes.

All kids should have to visit the place. The history is being lost and diluted by time and extremist propaganda.

Growing up, I had Polish friends. I wouldn’t have described their parents as miserable, but rather as simply terrifying.
