Have to say I was completely immpressed with Dublin. The airport has had a major overhaul and is really top notch in terms of facilities and look.
The city South of the Liffey is extremely well healed and in parts looks like lots of other European cities, London, Paris etc. Really stylish place with loads of cool looking eateries and shops once you cross the road from Temple Bar.
North Side still a bit rough and ready. But lots of the inner city housing estates have been tarted up and converted j to apartments gentrification at its best.
It certainly felt like the place had the smell of money and a very confident way with itself.
Bars and food is expensive, probably about 35-100% more expensive than Leeds.
