Alright mate,Unfortunately the bloke could only show it to me in the office (I don't work for BR, just know him) I only saw it a couple of times but know the lads involved, they were reds and caught the 'wrong' train home, heh... They said they were gonna' get straight off at the next door when they realised it was full of your lot but the train pulled away. From what I could make out, after holding the younger lot off in the carriage when the train pulled in, Griff stuck a sneaky one on my mate (hit the jackpot) then things took a turn for the worse. I'll spare his embarrassment and let him fill you in with the rest but I dare say he would have needed a lie in the following morning.:/

Somebody who the wife works with and who I've never met has just given the wife this book for me to read. Apparently I might like it . Uhhhhhhhhhh!!!Read the odd snippet and looked at the pictures. Too many familar faces crop up.Biggest memories were the pictures at Bradford (Odsal) when the burger van was set on fire. That was a crazy day. Let's put loads of Leeds fans in a building site with loads of rubble around. Then lets be a clever Leeds fan and lets brick the, errrrrrr, Leeds fans in front of us shall we. How f'ing clever. Lad next to me got hit by a brick above his eye. Real mess. I left early.

The book shouldn't have been written really ,but once it was deffo coming out i think the people that submitted any story's wanted to be as honest as memory allowed & not read like the other hoolie books which are shite I think it was pretty honest ,maybe too honest in places ?The rest is a bit all over the place stories all mixed up especially the Man U one's in the 70's .Too many people interviewed individually maybe the problem , all with a different memory of a particular event Then there were loods of key people missing who did'n't feature at all for what ever reason ?I haven't actually read the book yet ,i read the draft [which Caroline emailed me ] which is apparently longer ?There's one story in the draft not featured in the book that i am aware of when Leeds attacked Liecester's baby squad in the "Cockney pride " in Piccadilly Like i say it shouldn't have been written .But i think it was the some of the zulu's who knew Eddie & Caroline that were instrumental in starting the book .There were also 4 publishers trying to make inroads into contacting some representative of the SC to do one .Apparently Leeds were the last big name firm to write a book & because Leeds featured in most of the other books the publishers wanted a Leeds perspective I don't know who got any money ? i only said yes when i was told some money would be going to the families of our friends killed in Turkey other wise i would't have bothered at all

Soldierant - some of the later pictures look like the researchers have gone into the pub and said 'the drinks are on me', loosened tongues up abit and got their pencils and pads at the ready. Was this the case?
