CBIT Flaneur I guessed who - just on the basis he was in other groups before he (sort of) came on board
Flaneur CBIT The thing is, I'm not fully sure he played on that number 1? The song got to number 1 after a reissue with a tie-in to a TV commercial. Do you know if he did?
Flaneur ๐ So it's a non-question, unless i'd wanna phrase it around John Marr for the Bond Theme. Confirmed in here; From here: https://intocreative.co.uk/bluebells-sisters/
Flaneur Misura Of 'The Rockontuers' podcast? If so, he only very nearly joined them: https://www.morrissey-solo.com/threads/bassist-guy-pratt-on-the-time-he-nearly-joined-the-smiths-rolling-stone.147035/

Odd_Job CBIT he was on Radcliffe and Maconie on Saturday morning, comes across as a really decent fella. Included a tale of when he was on Twitter and someone remarked that he seemed to like The Smiths as he mentioned them a lot and asked if heโd ever seen them. To which he responded heโd seen everyone of their gigs!
90Piesanhour Odd_Job He was a top bloke when I knew him many years ago. I've probably told this story before, but he used to drum in a punk band called 'Victim', who played at Bradford's 1in12 club in the early 80s. There was only about 5 people there, so we all got chatting and I ended up going to see him and his (druggy) mates a few times in Hulme. Lost contact with him for a while and then saw him on TOTP playing drums for the Smiths. Life, eh?
Loose_Lips I am sure he rocked up for a brand new band in rehearsals just to help for a favour. Trying to remember who...
Loose_Lips Suede! Imagine that! Bernard Butler played with Mike Joyce this very early, no singles released or anything like that. And no favour pulled in. Mike Joyce answered an add in the Melody Maker I think. It was in one of Brett Andersons biographies.
