Double IPA. Brewed to 7.2%. Went old school and finished with Stygian Goldings and Fuggles. It has pine and a little spice and big helping of tropical fruit, pineapple, citrus.

American IPA malts, English ale yeast, some Coopers BE2, some extra light spray malt topped off with dextrose, dry hopped with 2oz Sorachi Ace hops and 2oz of Mandarina Bavarian hops. It's not got a name yet but it's a fecking beautiful.

This is the last of the Japanese and German hops. I'm moving to more trad British hops when I get back from holiday.

I'm a big fan of letting beer go flat and drinking it the next day.

You think its nuts but the next time you find an open barely drunk can the next morning, stick it in the fridge. That evening pour it into a pint glass, flat as a fart. Hand blender dipped for half a second and out. It's like you are drinking a hand pulled version of your canned beer.

Foxy_Dread Mate of a mate had been drinking one evening at home and needed a piss. As he couldn't be bothered to go upstairs to the toilet he pissed into an empty can and left it by the side of his chair. The next evening, he was looking for a couple of cheeky drinks and was delighted to find a can in the fridge. As it had been opened, and appeared to be flat, and he thought he had just not drunk it the night before, he stuck it in the Soda Stream and fizzed it up before taking a swig and nearly throwing up. It was only later that day that his wife told him she had found the can by his chair and stuck it in the fridge.

A New England IPA base, made semi-hazy with additional oat mash, with a trio of trad English hops early dry hopped (Fuggles, Sussex and Whitbread Golding Variety), and primed for secondary fermentation with organic honey. Somewhere about 5.2% abv.

Shop bought beer will never excite me again.

Salted Caramel and Chocolate Stout, part of Lidl beer festival collection. It's ok nothing special

That Fruit Phaser is bloody lovely in the Lidl also the Maple Syrup Stout.
